Review: American Airlines Business Class 777-200 – NYC to Buenos Aires

In 2011 I met a wonderful person: my friend from Argentina who would become one of my closest confidantes and later one of my college roommates. Later down the line, life moved us apart. I moved from NYC to Seattle and she moved back to her home country of Argentina. Continue reading “Review: American Airlines Business Class 777-200 – NYC to Buenos Aires”

How My Diet And Fitness Changed In Retirement

I was very curious when approaching retirement to see what kind of retiree I would be. Some people say that in early retirement they’re in the best shape of their lives and others seem to lean more into an “every day is a vacation” mindset aka “what’s a vegetable?” 😉 . This weird experiment continues 🙂 . Last year I mentioned that I accidentally recorded everything I did in 1 hour increments for my whole first year of retirement. Originally this was because I was curious to see what I got up to with unlimited time, and later I found it so useful that I just kept doing it. The Month Of Maine: September 2022 Recap

And just like that, it was fall 🙂 . I always thought of myself as a summer girl, but given that I can soak up all of the lessening hours of sunlight instead of dreamily looking at them outside my office window, I’m coming around to this season. It’s definitely more pleasant to run in, I’m enjoying the warmth of tea in my belly and a fluffy blanket on my lap when I (inevitably) read a book in one sitting. Consider me a changed woman 🙂 . So, let’s see what I got up to during this first month of fall!
