The Month Of City Hopping: Early Retirement Month 12 (September 2021)

With this post, it’s a wrap on a full year of early retirement that I’ve documented on this blog! It’s been a full year since I quit my marketing job and set out into the sunset. It’s been an absolutely wonderful time that I’m grateful I saved for posterity here. Continue reading “The Month Of City Hopping: Early Retirement Month 12 (September 2021)”

1Password Review: Protect Yo’ Shit!

*snicker* Yeah I laughed at my own title. Anyway, it always makes me laugh when people assume I have my shit together. Like (some? most? all?) humans, I have SOME shit together – not all. Not by a long shot. There are many things I know I should do…and still don’t šŸ™‚ . Using a password manager was one of those things. I was told it was cheap, super easy and very secure in an increasingly unsafe digital world…and yet I did nothing. Continue reading “1Password Review: Protect Yo’ Shit!”

Slow Travel Review: Catskill, New York, USA ā€“ The Land Of Mountains

I’m sensing a pattern in these Slow Travel Reviews – I need to be more open šŸ™‚ . I continue to be surprised with how awesome new towns are and how much they have to offer. The Month Of New York State: Early Retirement Month 11 (August 2021)

Well, 2021 is 2/3 done. Time is meaningless šŸ™‚ . Apparently Starbucks is already prepping Pumpkin Spice Lattes and yet it still looks and feels like summer in the Northeast. Weird. Anyway, let’s see what I got up to in August! Continue reading “The Month Of New York State: Early Retirement Month 11 (August 2021)”

A Visa Misadventure: That Time I Was Stranded in London

It’s been almost two full years since I left the US and as a result, I’ve been reminiscing about the times I had that privilege in the past. My Mom and I have had some awful travel luck so some of those memories are less than ideal, but I could usually grab a nugget of wisdom from them in retrospect šŸ™‚ . How I Manage My Money In Retirement

I randomly do Instagram AMAs in my Stories when that specific urge hits me. In a deviation from my norm where I embrace the “Anything” part of “Ask Me Anything,” the last one I did had a theme: Nomad Life. However, despite me setting parameters, people kept asking about my money and how I manage it. Continue reading “How I Manage My Money In Retirement”
