I feel like every monthly recap begins with me not understanding how time is passing so quickly…and I will not be breaking that streak today ๐ . How is 2022 80% over?!? My brain cannot comprehend it. In this time of stock market uncertainty, I thought it might be helpful to look at the upside and put a positive spin on things when the market seems to be dripping blood red ๐ . The market has shown a bit of the downside of investing this year – or rather, one of the moments that dictate if someone will be a successful longterm investor. And just like that, it was fall ๐ . I always thought of myself as a summer girl, but given that I can soak up all of the lessening hours of sunlight instead of dreamily looking at them outside my office window, I’m coming around to this season. It’s definitely more pleasant to run in, I’m enjoying the warmth of tea in my belly and a fluffy blanket on my lap when I (inevitably) read a book in one sitting. Consider me a changed woman ๐ . 2022 continues to pass by with the speed of a bullet train. I guess I’m having too much fun ๐ . This month we continued our exploration of the northeast – we like to come here in the summer if possible since it’s cooler than other parts of the country.
